I love old sewing notions and am always on the look out for something different. I was so excited the day I found this wonderful old sewing machine. This one is a Willcox and Gibbs from 1894.

- If I could drift through life on a fluffy white cloud, I would be happy as long as every now and then,(more now than then) I could stop off and create something, or better still, I could have a table top on my cloud with my creating stuff around me. Just imagine the inspiration one would get looking down from above! My journal would be so full of ideas, -upside down trees, pigs with wings, woolly sheep with antlers and cows with stripes, all of course would be well aged and grunged. I should have been born many, many years ago, spent my life on a farm, surrounded by well-used and aged objects, simple yet effective, without the complications of today’s contraptions.

Oh I love the machine Lynda! I collect vintage sewing items too (much to my husband's dismay) and have several old machines. This one is a beauty!
