Warm Winter Wishes with "What Matters" is our theme for our first I Heart Market on Saturday 7th August. My daughter and I are busy making items for our stall and hopefully these will bring you warm winter wishes. Its been a very mild winter this year but generally August can be our coldest month, but what ever the weather, we hope you will visit our stall -we look forward to meeting you.

I Heart Market

Ooh, I'm excited to be joining the I Heart Market in August. Have had my thinking cap on working on a fresh new theme for this event which takes place on the first Saturday of every month. My daughter will be joining me so that's an added excitement in itself.

Wooden smokers
I love these wooden smokers, I would love to collect them! These two were given to me by my son and his wife from one of their trips to a German Christmas market.
The wooden smkoers ake a little incense burner in their tummy and once lit, the smoke comes out through the mouth so it looks like they are smoking their pipe.
Another item i would love to collect, only have two as well are Babushkas, those little nesting doll shaped boxes. I was told that a true Babushkas has a different item on each doll. The one i have that is a real treasure has a granny doll holding a duck, and each time you open the next doll, she holds something diffent to to with cooking the duck. Will get a photo up of that too.

A picture says it all!
Here are two little visitors at my flea market day yesterday, Cassidy and her six month old prem baby brother. It was a wonderful day, the weather was beautiful, clear bule sky, a gentle whisper of wind, birds a-plenty, lovely company, good shopping, and satisfying food. Certainly a day to repeat and one I hope to do every last Saturday of the month.
